1st Expert Meeting

Building on the discussions accumulated through the University Presidents for Peace Conference, we newly convened an Expert Meeting as a platform to translate the outcomes of these discussions into concrete actions and practices.
The meeting focused on two key themes: exploring a new framework from a “Beyond the SDGs” perspective, looking ahead to the post-2030 era after the target year for achieving the SDGs, and discussing the governance of dual-use technologies with both civilian and military applications.
